Solutions
Newview provides software that
connects Product Development and Procurement to drive
innovation on a competitive cost basis – often
at 5-10% of current costs. The solutions are designed
specifically to manage the complex environment of raw
materials, fabricated parts and other components that
exist at the “Bottom of the Bill of Materials”.
And leveraging the Newview’s heritage of defining
and implementing network business processes across multiple
enterprises and multiple tiers of companies, Newview
is uniquely positioned to help your company achieve
the full value of materials and relationships.
Companies
have selected Newview solutions to power their buying
strategies in supplier facing processes and to create
a single source of material specification data. The
solutions are packaged to be deployed quickly as a suite
or by module with the opportunity to extend the solution
as your needs grow. And the embedded integration capabilities
of Newview’s Network Business Process Architecture™
make it easy to plug Newview into existing systems.

Example Customer Deployments
FORD uses Newview to turn their purchasing center into
a profit center through network process flows. Newview
manages a strategic buying program used to purchase
over $1B annually in raw materials. This solution executes
in excess of 170 network business processes from
material sourcing to delivery and claims resolution
with more than 500 supplier sites, more than
1,000 users, and 100,000s of network interactions. The
Newview solution coordinates the day-to-day business
interactions with materials suppliers, provides supplier
performance measurement and purchasing visibility into
Ford's supplier network. The system was "live"
and in production in four months.
DELPHI uses the Newview Coordinated Network Procurement solution to
manage raw material sourcing on behalf of its part supplier community.
Through its Global Metal Management Program, Delphi aggregates raw
material requirements from parts suppliers and directly negotiates the
consolidated volumes with a limited number of preferred material sources.
Benefits include ensuring continuity of raw material supply to part
suppliers, improving part quality, and reducing the total acquisition
cost of critical raw materials. The Newview solution allows Delphi
to manage material specifications, pricing, and sub-tier financial
transactions for the purchase and resale of the raw materials.
The solution was delivered in less than four months following a
comprehensive analysis of Delphi’s metallic material supply network.
